Foster Gallery, The

The Foster Gallery is dedicated to working with both established and emerging contemporary figurative artists from around the country, with a focus on Paintings and works on paper. The shows at the Foster Gallery make available works that become "documents of process". Documents of process are drawings, sketches and other works that are used as resource in the development of larger and completed pieces. These works bring an entry point for young collectors to obtain original fine art that is typically not available. The sale of these works also encourage artist to pursue constant improvement and study without the weight of producing large scale finished works. Coupled with this effort is a desire to educate visitors to the personalities and methodologies that make up the works on the walls. The Foster Gallery goal is to post routine pod casts of artist conversations and forums, discussing all natures of the art and the influences that brought it to us.
